Trifield Natural EMF Meter

Trifield 100XE EMF Meter

REVIEW
goods:
Cool little tool to have. I use it mainly for detecting EMF's in my home for furniture placement, Consistent meter with retro looks, Instructions are easy, dial easy to read, and in less than 1/2 hour I tested several areas I was concerned about. My electric stove, cell and landline phone, washer , dryer, dashboard in car when under power. All electric switch plates, computer and small lamps. Very interesting results, which I marked on a sheet of paper. Then I called the manufacturer to ask a couple of questions, such as WHY is there virtually no electric field when my Dishwasher is on, but a huge magnetic field for parts of the cycle.I was very pleasantly surprised that an engineer from the company called me back, and explained to me, that the PUMP inside dishwasher is what creates that field. Similar magnetic field emanates from my computer. As I can measure how far the field stretches, I can now position myself outside the strongest part. This also explained to me why I switch the dishwasher on ONLY when I am not about the be in the kitchen. That was completely instinctive, and good to know. As a result of the test of laptop field I now sit far away from it any time when I read something. cons:
've been told this meter has issues with accuracy for certain frequency. Can't use on cell towers with any accuracy. Good to find out electrical issues, tends to report high on electro magnetic devices according to professionals I've spoken with. It has its weaknesses but I didn't return it finding it helpful for wires in the wall, etc.
